Chairmaking

In this week of hard work you’ll develop some great basic green woodworking skills and in the end have a great looking chair. You’ll have a couple of choices in the style of chair you want and get plenty of practice in each stage of the chairmaking process. We’ll cover all the basics of hand tool care and use, the dynamics of wood, post and rung joinery, managing mistakes, seat weaving, and finishes. The skills you get here will help you in many other projects down the road.

[Date: To be announced]— $400 + $65 materials fee

*Suggested Tool List
